About the committee
In February 2003, the Governor signed Executive Order 03-01, which requires state agencies regulating business activities to review their regulations and regulatory processes in order to reduce regulatory burdens, without compromising regulatory standards. EO 03-01 also established the Office of Regulatory Streamlining within the Department of Consumer and Business Services to work with state agencies and other public and private sector stakeholders to oversee regulatory streamlining efforts.

House Bill 3120 (2003 Legislative Session) moves this effort forward through the creation of the Advisory Committee on Agency Rule Streamlining.

The committee meets on the fourth Thursday of each month. The October full committee meeting has been cancelled. There will be a meeting of the Report Writing Subcommittee on October 28 at 9 a.m. in Conference Room E of the Labor and Industries Building. The next full committee meeting will be Wednesday, November 10 at 9 a.m. in Room 270, Director´s Office Conference Room, Labor and Industries Building, 350 Winter Street NE, Salem, Oregon.
